Motivation Monday:

This quote seems appropriate, since I woke up at 2:04 AM to write this post in bed. It's already February 2nd and we are all probably thinking where did January go? For that exact reason, we should always be motivated to live in the moment and set goals for ourselves.

At the start of every month I set a few, then start achieving them one by one. I start with a daily goal, as little as making the bed. As silly as that may sound, going to bed at night to a made bed is one the best feelings to me. I follow up with a weekly goal regarding what I want to accomplish and how I want to feel. This week’s goal is to update all my work objectives for last month and this month, before traveling out of the country. Lastly is my monthly goal, which tends to be more personal. Considering this is the month we celebrate love, I am going to work on approaching others and introducing myself, without needing an introduction and to purpose myself to be more approachable to women.

Although it may seem that I am antisocial to fellow ladies, that is not the case at all. If you are a female, you will understand it is not easy meeting other girls, let alone becoming a true friend with them.

I think back at how hard enough it was being a girl and growing up with societal pressures, but sometimes I think does it get easier? Yes and no. Yes in the sense that peer pressure isn’t as present, when you get older. However, now our decisions really do affect our lively hood. Yet when women are involved it's a real challenge to make new friends or to even say "hello" in certain social settings. It's my goal  to be more present and to show as much love and support as I can to other ladies.  What goals do you want to accomplish for February?
